FLYING IN, TAXIS & STOPPING FOR GROCERIES
If you are flying into Regional Southwest International Airport (RSW) in Ft. Myers, we recommend you use Pine Island Taxi to get to the marina. Go to their website, pineislandtaxi.com or call (888) 777-9653 for specific pricing for your group or to make a reservation. You can also make arrangements to stop for groceries or fresh seafood on the way to the marina. Pine Island Taxi’s website has helpful information/advice about grocery pick up.
There is a small store (Mango’s) on North Captiva that sells basic provisions and there are 2 island restaurants you can try: Mango’s Poolside Bar and Grill (at The Island Club), and Over The Waterfront restaurant in Safety Harbor Club. We suggest you plan ahead to get supplies from the mainland, since grocery availability on the island is limited and more expensive.
